Journey Forward was founded to address a gap we repeatedly saw in the charity sector—too often, the voices and lived experiences of communities were overlooked or treated as an afterthought.
At the same time, many initiatives focused on one-off support rather than helping people build long-term independence. This meant that those best placed to drive meaningful change were rarely given the tools to do so.
Journey Forward exists to change that.
We believe the most effective solutions come from within communities themselves. By equipping people with skills, confidence, and opportunities to connect, we help create lasting independence and meaningful change.
